Devon musical jug, depicting Captain Cook's First Landing Oct 8th 1769,
plays Haere Ra (Good-bye) Waltz Song to the tune of Now is the Hour. On
the other side is The Arrival of the Maoris. Souvenir of the New Zealand
Centenary 1939-40. Great condition with no chips, cracks or crazing, and
the music box works perfectly, 7 3/4" high.
