    Sepia beaker produced by S Fielding & Co, 'The Marquis of Stafford August 29th 1909'. The Marquis was George Granville Sutherland (1888-1963), son of the fourth Duke of Sutherland. The beaker would have been made to commemorate his coming of age (21st birthday), 4" high, no chips, but the beaker does have a 1 1/2" crack at the rim with a little sliver missing.

    Beautifully made pair of napkin rings in tortoise shell bakelite, in the shape of buckles with silver embellishments, good colour when held to the light, one is slightly wider than the other, one tiny chip on the edge and a scratch where the buckle 'pins' can swivel round. Age unknown, but they look like early bakelite based on the style.
