Beautiful rosewood box with dome lid and mother of pearl escutcheon and cabochon. This box measures 9 1/4" x 3 1/4", has a fabulous grain to the timber. The wood is in excellent condition - the lined interior is quite heavily marked. There is a small chip to the escutcheon.

Sepia beaker produced by S Fielding & Co, 'The Marquis of Stafford August 29th 1909'. The Marquis was George Granville Sutherland (1888-1963), son of the fourth Duke of Sutherland. The beaker would have been made to commemorate his coming of age (21st birthday), 4" high, no chips, but the beaker does have a 1 1/2" crack at the rim with a little sliver missing.

Service Station and Motor Mechanics Manual 1940, by George George with a Foreword by Sir Malcolm Campbell (the first man in the world to drive a car at more than 300 mph). This substantial manual has some marks and foxing but is in overall very good condition, particularly the binding.

Single draw ship's telescope, engraved 'Parnell Hermitage Bridge London 1866', measures 34" closed and 43 3/4" extended with ray shade. Original leather (stitching on seam gone), missing one strap, has the lens protection slides, has dents to draw which do not affect use. Clear sharp image.

Staffordshire transfer ware plate featuring Prime Minister Disraeli, c1870, hand coloured primrose border, 9 3/8" across, maker Wallis Simson, in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, has fine clean crazing and wear to the gilt edge.

Beautifully made pair of napkin rings in tortoise shell bakelite, in the shape of buckles with silver embellishments, good colour when held to the light, one is slightly wider than the other, one tiny chip on the edge and a scratch where the buckle 'pins' can swivel round. Age unknown, but they look like early bakelite based on the style.
